If you are taking regular medication we will give you a computer print out listing your medication. When you next require a prescription, hand in your slip at reception ticking the items you need, alternatively send it with a stamped addressed envelope and we will post the prescription back to you.
Your prescription should be available within two working days, under exceptional circumstances repeat scripts can be issued the same day.
Please note that we do not take repeat prescriptions over the telephone. We will only give a repeat prescription to a representative of a patient where we are satisfied that the patient has given his or her consent for the representative to collect the prescription.
We cannot hand over prescriptions to anybody under the age of 16 years. Please notify the surgery if you cease taking a particular medication in order that your computerised record can be amended.
